Our Purpose

We are interested in the spiritual growth of our students.  We strive to see every student accept Christ as Savior and to prepare our students for God’s service.

We strive to give our students a superior academic education. We believe that the Christian should excel in every area and that God expects us to do a better job academically.

In a day of lawlessness and permissiveness, we strive to develop strong character.

We believe that these three areas are vital in the lives of children and must be developed if the child is to become an adult profitable to God.  This development can best be accomplished as parents, church, and school work together. We are anxious to work with you in developing your child into a profitable servant of God.

Our Philosophy

Calvary Christian School was begun in 1968 as a ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church.  For over 49 years we have sought to provide a Christian education to parents interested in rearing their child in the admonition of the Lord. Christian education is teaching students God’s truth in every area of life, be it mathematics, science, English, history, or other subjects. At CCS, we strive to teach students to look at the world from the perspective of God’s Word rather than the humanistic, materialistic viewpoint of the secular school room. We believe that God has given parents the responsibility to “train up” their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord”.  Calvary Christian School was established to be an aid to parents in that responsibility.
